Kolambu is a tangy tamarind based curry that brings authentic home-made taste by adding protein of your choice like fish, shrimp, egg or vegetables like drumstick, potato, field beans, brinjal (eggplant) based on your preference.

Preparation Instructions:
1. Thaw the Kolambu base (8oz).
2. Add 8 oz of the paste to boiling water.
3. Variations:
Fish Kolambu - Add fish and cook for 10 mins on medium heat.
Shrimp Kolambu - Add Shrimp and cook for 5 mins on medium heat.
Veg Kolambu - Add boiled / fried vegetables and cook for 15 mins in medium heat.
Egg Kolambu - Add poached or raw egg and cook for 5 mins.
4. Add salt as required.
5. Serve hot with rice
